Global Domains International (GDI) recently announced new commission payment options for affiliates.

GDI affiliates can now receive their commissions by one of the three following methods:

This is great news for international affiliates like myself. In Australia, I currently pay A$10 just to have an international cheque deposited to my bank account. This is on top of the fees charged by the bank for currency conversion.

For a number of years I have been looking for a focus for my Internet business and affiliate marketing.

For some time now I have been looking for a program that would help me build my downlines in traffic exchange programs as well as in my online business opportunities such as Global Domains International (GDI), Empowerism, and Viral Profits.

GDI Sets the Pace with their Integrated Marketing System

GDI (Global Domains International) provides .ws domain, hosting, site builder, and email accounts for $10 per month. However, the real value of GDI membership lies in their integrated marketing system.

There are four major components to the GDI integrated marketing system:

online promotional material
follow-up system
off-line material
back office

1. Online promotional material

The centrepiece of their emarketing strategy is the promotional movie which explains the GDI opportunity and compensation plan. A special twist is that the presenting characters in the movie address the prospect by name throughout the presentation. GDI members are encouraged to simply tell their prospects to "watch the movie":

Prospects are encouraged to take a free 7 day trial of the system during which time they can earn referral revenue. The system automatically bills after 7 days unless the prospect has cancelled.

GDI members also have access to a range of web sales pages, lead capture pages and promotional banners.

2. Follow-up system

GDI members are advised immediately a person visits their website and when a person undertakes a free trial. Members are encouraged through the GDI email advice to immediately contact the prospect. Additionally, GDI advises members when a prospect signs up for the program and takes out a .ws domain.

Also email advice is given when an existing downline member starts the cancellation process. This enables the referrer to contact the cancelling member so that they can offer any assistance required.

GDI enables members to transfer prospects to their downline members during the prospect's free trial period. This enables leaders to help downline members build their businesses. The receiving GDI member is immediately advised by email when such a transfer takes place. Leaders who transfer free trail prospects to their downline gain points towards cash bonuses.

Thus, the GDI marketing system tracks prospects at every stage of the recruitment process and advises the referrer as action happens, enabling quick follow-up of the prospect.

3. Off-line material

The centrepiece here is the GDI business card known as the "sizzle card" because it is such an effective recruiting tool. The business cards (purchasd at a discount price) are a complete marketing tool in their own right, incorporating referrer's contact details and access details for both a recorded call and the promotional movie. Prospects are encouraged via the card to sign up for the free trial as well.

GDI also provides a catchy flyer for off-line marketing.

4. Back office

Since GDI pays referrers five levels deep, their referrals are shown for each of these levels. Details include stage of recruiting, prospect's contact details and referrer's name. Prospects at the free trial stage are highlighted and the highlighting ceases when they join as a member. Thus at a glance, a referrer can see what stage of the recruiting process the prospect is up to and how many domains they have purchased. The referrer receives commission for each referral who signs up (down five levels) and additional commission for additional domains purchased by one of their prospects. The commision table details commission by month including the details of the person referred, their status and referrer's name.

I have been with GDI since 1 March 2005 and at 30 April I am earning a monthly income more than twice my monthly membership fee (and my monthly income keeps growing as downline members recruit).

eMoney strategy with GDI - Tim Sebert's success formula

Tim Sebert, the lead recruiter for Global Domains International (GDI), recently spoke about his recruiting strategy on a live call for members of GDI.

His comments are relevant to any network marketer who may be interested in growing their eMoney income.

Tim has made mega-dollars over many years as a network marketer but was close to quitting after his experience with nutrition programs. He was frustrated by the high monthly fees, the requirement to buy product monthly and the very high drop-out rate amongst affiliates.

Then Tim discovered GDI with its low monthly fees, universally needed product/service, low drop-out rate and great monthly income flow.

Tim has become the lead recruiter for GDI and earns thousands in bonuses alone:

Here are some of Tim's strategies for success:

Maintain your focus - promote only one program. Do not dissipate your energies by trying to promote multiple programs.
Use business cards - they are worth a million dollars to you. Tim uses GDI's business cards extensively because they are a complete recruiting package with promotion information plus recorded call, movie and "join" URLs.
Don't use phone follow-up as this is not duplicable. (This is contrary to the advice of a lot of "experts")
Don't try to be a PhD in your program but let the website, movie, etc do the selling. Tim's advice is "be dumb" - "the dumber you are, the more money you will make!". Just say "Watch the movie" or "Visit the website!"
Look at your local newspapers, magazines etc. for business opportunity ads. Then ring the advertiser and mention your network marketing opportunity. If you ring during the working day you will often have to leave a voicemail message - all the better for leaving a brief statement about GDI or any other opportunity (don't forget to tell them the web address!)
Tim also suggested using the “Invite” system to email your family, friends and business contacts (if your program has one like that offered by GDI) – making sure the ‘invite email’ has an engaging subject line. He suggests that you set yourself a target number of invites per day, follow-up by email and be consistent and persistent.

Tim spent a lot of time talking about business cards and here are some suggestions from him on how to use them:

Include them with your bill payments
Use “reply paid” envelopes from advertisers to post your card to them
Tape your business card to “free mail” and “reply paid” postcards.
Give them away to people at meetings, etc.
Drop them into the "win a free lunch" box at Cafes and Restaurants
Place them on community notice boards

Unless you've been under a rock for the last year, you've heard the term "blog" once or twice. To most people, a "blog" simply represents a glorified online "diary" where geeks, computer nerds, and lonely teenagers record their thoughts in cyber-space.

However, many people don't realize that "blogs" are quietly revolutionizing the way companies and customers interact about everything from existing products to new ideas and improvements in customer service. In short, "blog" style communication has come of age and anyone with an online business better sit up and take notice fast!

In the beginning, "blogs" were basically an online diary to record your thoughts; but "blogs" have now evolved into dynamic websites that non-technical people can update immediately without html editors or ftp programs. Blogs allow their authors to make instant website updates through a computer anywhere in the world with a Web browser and Internet connection.

Blogs also allow readers to respond to the author's posts, provide additional information, links, expanded opinions, and more. In short, an active "blog" creates an interactive community with the author as the hub and the readers as the spokes of the wheel that keep the whole cycle turning round.

Unlike traditional "static" web pages where content rarely (if ever) changes, an active blog evolves in a state of constant and never-ending renewal. With blogs, smart online businesses re-discovered a principal that small "mom and pop" stores understood for years: know your customers and stay in close tune with their wants, needs, and desires. What I want to discuss in this EMoney blog are the features, facilities and resources of the core programs that have given me a true return on investment. Often you do not get to know about these "value added" aspects unless you have been with a program for a while.
